About Portal to Wellness

Portal to Wellness supplies research compounds to laboratories and researchers who read the published literature and want to understand a compound’s mechanism before they order.

We started it because we had been on the other side of the counter — dealing with vendors who could not answer basic questions about their own products.

We Built This For The Skeptics

The research compound market has a transparency problem. Underdosed vials, unverified suppliers, and product pages with no real documentation are the standard. Most suppliers treat their customers as buyers. We treat ours as researchers.

That means being straight about where our testing actually stands. We previously published Certificates of Analysis supplied by our vendor. We withdrew them, because their verification keys could not be independently checked — and a certificate you cannot verify is not evidence. We now commission our own independent testing through Janoshik Analytical, with Portal to Wellness listed as the client on each report, and publish each report as it arrives. How We Think About Research Guides

Our research guides summarise the published literature by research area, not by product:

The Metabolic Optimization Research Guide covers the published research on incretin, AMPK and lipid-metabolism signalling.

The Longevity Essentials Research Guide covers the research on telomere biology, mitochondrial function, oxidative stress and thymic ageing.

The Cognitive Performance Research Guide covers neurotrophin (BDNF) signalling, neuroplasticity and stress-response research.

The GLP-1 & Metabolic Research Guide covers GLP-1, GIP and amylin receptor pharmacology and the published clinical literature on those molecules.

Each guide describes what has been studied and where the human evidence stops. None of them is a protocol: we do not publish amounts, schedules, routes or combinations, and nothing on this site is a recommendation for use.

Sourcing and Testing

We source from licensed manufacturers working to GMP standards. We commission our own independent testing, and published reports are listed on our Lab Testing & Verification page.
