About Our Products
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the building blocks of proteins. Unlike large proteins, peptides are small enough to interact with specific receptors and signaling pathways in biological systems. Researchers use synthetic peptides to study everything from tissue repair and metabolic function to cognitive performance and cellular aging. Portal to Wellness supplies research-grade peptides and bioactive compounds for use in scientific and laboratory settings.
Are your products intended for human use?
No. All products sold by Portal to Wellness are strictly for research purposes only and are not intended for human consumption, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any medical condition. They are not approved by the FDA for human use. By purchasing from our store, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher and will use our products in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
What purity and quality standards do your products meet?
We buy from licensed manufacturers whose specification is ≥98% purity for each compound. We also test our own stock independently and publish every result with its exact figure, including any that come in below 98% — so far Tirzepatide 60mg, BPC-157 10mg, MOTS-c 40mg, GHK-Cu 100mg, HGH 24IU, GLOW-70 and BPC-157 + TB-500. The supplier-submitted certificates we used to show were withdrawn because they could not be independently verified. Every published report is listed on our Lab Testing & Verification page. Most peptides are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, which maximizes stability during shipping and storage.
What product categories do you carry?
Our current catalog spans eight research categories: GLP-1 & Metabolic (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide), Recovery & Repair (BPC-157, TB-500), Longevity & Anti-Aging (Epithalon, Humanin, MOTS-c), Cognitive Enhancement (Semax, Selank, Dihexa), Growth & Anabolic (CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, IGF-1 LR3), Immune Support (Thymosin Alpha-1, LL-37), Sleep & Regeneration (DSIP, Epithalon), and Skin & Hair (GHK-Cu, KPV). Visit our shop to browse the full catalog.
What forms are available?
Most peptides are available as lyophilized powder. Depending on the compound, we also offer nasal spray, sublingual drops, and oral capsule formulations. Available forms are listed on each product page. If you’re looking for a specific formulation not shown, reach out — we may be able to source it.
Do you carry a compound I don’t see in your shop?
Quite possibly. We source on request for qualified researchers. Use our Request a Compound form and Charles will look into sourcing it personally. Turnaround on sourcing inquiries is typically 1–3 business days.
Getting Started with Research
How do I know which compound is right for my research goals?
That depends on what you’re studying. For tissue repair and injury recovery, BPC-157 and TB-500 are among the most well-studied peptides. For metabolic and weight-management research, GLP-1 agonists like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide have an extensive clinical literature. For longevity and cellular aging research, Epithalon and the mitochondrial peptides (Humanin, MOTS-c) are increasingly prominent. Our research guides and the chat widget on this site can also point you in the right direction.
What’s the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?
Both are GLP-1 metabolic research peptides, but they differ by how many gut-hormone receptors they engage. Semaglutide is a single GLP-1 receptor agonist, while tirzepatide is a dual agonist that activates both the GLP-1 and GIP receptors — the added GIP pathway is the core distinction studied for stronger metabolic effects. For a full mechanism-by-mechanism breakdown, see our Semaglutide vs Tirzepatide comparison and the guide. Sold for research use only.
Do you have research guides or other resources?
Yes. Our Research Hub covers mechanisms, published study summaries, and research background for our most popular compounds. We add new content regularly. If there’s a topic you’d like us to cover, let us know.
Orders & Shipping
Where do you ship?
We ship within the United States. For international shipping inquiries, please contact us before placing an order to confirm availability and any applicable restrictions for your country.
How are products packaged and shipped?
Lyophilized peptides are shipped at ambient temperature in discrete, sealed packaging. Products requiring cold storage or special handling are packed accordingly. All orders are shipped with tracking and packaged to protect product integrity during transit.
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically takes 3–5 business days after fulfillment. Expedited options may be available at checkout. If you have a specific timeline for your research, reach out before ordering and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
I have a question about my order. Who do I contact?
Use our Contact page for order status, tracking, billing issues, or any post-purchase questions. We aim to respond to all inquiries within one business day.
Account & General
Do I need an account to order?
No — you can check out as a guest. Creating an account lets you track orders, view order history, and access account-specific resources or early access to new compounds.
How do I stay updated on new compounds and research?
The best way is to join our email list — you’ll receive research updates, new product announcements, and research insights directly from Charles. You can sign up at checkout or via the form on our contact page.
