Incretin Agonists — GLP-1 and Amylin Research Compounds
These compounds act on the incretin and amylin receptor systems. They are grouped below by receptor coverage — which receptors each one binds — not by any order of use. Portal to Wellness does not publish protocols, combinations or quantities.
GIP and GLP-1 dual agonists
Tirzepatide binds both the GIP and the GLP-1 receptor. Much of the published literature on dual incretin agonism is built on this compound.
GLP-1 receptor agonists
Semaglutide binds the GLP-1 receptor alone, and is the reference compound for single-receptor incretin agonism in the published literature. It is supplied in two vial sizes; vial size is a quantity of material, not a stage in a research programme.
Triple receptor agonists
Additional compounds in this class
Cagrilintide, supplied on its own as an amylin analogue, and 5-Amino-1MQ, which inhibits nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT) and is not an incretin agonist.
