Slow-wave sleep is where much of the interesting endocrinology happens.
Super Relax PM, CJC-1295 with DAC, Sermorelin and DSIP — compounds studied in the context of sleep architecture and growth hormone signalling.
Why this research area draws attention.
Most daily growth hormone release occurs during slow-wave sleep, and that release declines with age and with disrupted sleep architecture. Both observations are well described in the endocrinology literature and neither depends on any product. Growth hormone secretagogues are studied for how they interact with that pulsatile system: CJC-1295 with DAC and Sermorelin are growth hormone-releasing analogues studied for their effect on endogenous secretion, while Super Relax PM is a non-peptide blend; its composition is listed on the product page. DSIP comes from a different literature again — delta-wave sleep signalling — and a considerably thinner one. What the published work describes is the physiology, not an outcome anyone should expect.
What’s in this stack.
Non-peptide sleep support formulation. Its constituents are studied in the sleep literature in relation to GABA signalling and sleep-onset latency. PTW makes no claim about what the formulation does.
Long-acting GHRH analogue. The Drug Affinity Complex binds albumin, extending half-life relative to non-DAC variants. Studied for its effect on endogenous GH secretion.
Synthetic analogue of the first 29 amino acids of endogenous GHRH. Studied for GH release via the pituitary's own feedback pathway, which is why it appears in work concerned with physiological pulsatility.
Delta sleep-inducing peptide. A nonapeptide isolated in the 1970s and named for the delta-wave EEG activity reported in the animals it was infused into. It sits in the sleep-architecture literature rather than the growth hormone one, which is why it does not duplicate the two secretagogues above.
What the published work describes.
Super Relax PM — Constituents and Sleep Literature
A non-peptide formulation. The sleep literature it draws on concerns GABA signalling, sleep-onset latency and slow-wave sleep duration — well described independently of any product. PTW does not publish the formulation's composition as a claim about what it does.
CJC-1295 with DAC — GHRH Analogue Pharmacokinetics
A synthetic GHRH analogue. Its Drug Affinity Complex binds albumin, substantially extending half-life compared with non-DAC variants. The published interest is in how that altered pharmacokinetic profile interacts with the pulsatile GH system — an open question, not a described outcome.
Sermorelin — Physiological GH Secretion
Sermorelin is a synthetic analogue of the first 29 amino acids of endogenous GHRH. It stimulates pituitary somatotrophs to release GH through the body's own negative-feedback pathway. It appears in work concerned with preserving physiological pulsatility for that reason.
DSIP — Delta-Wave Sleep Signalling
DSIP was isolated from cerebral venous blood by Schoenenberger and Monnier in the 1970s and named for the increase in delta-wave EEG activity observed in the animals it was infused into. The literature since is thinner and less settled than that of the GHRH analogues: no receptor has been definitively identified, and findings on sleep latency and EEG spectra have not been consistently reproduced. It is included here because it addresses sleep signalling directly rather than through the somatotropic axis — and the honest description of it is an open question, not an established mechanism.
